Percieved Value of Your Training Delivery
Areas Affecting Perceived Value of Training Experience |
In other posts we will look at these items in more detail - for now here is a short summary:
- Professional Presentation: Every classroom presentation must be delivered in a professional manner that engages the learners. You or your trainer is there to ensure learning takes place, not to entertain.
- Courses Offered: You must establish courses that meet corporate business needs with offerings that are inter-linked to ensure your customers are returning for additional training programs. Each offering should have a business driver.
- Quality of Material: The material must be of the best quality you can afford. It should look presentable in whatever format is chosen.
- Appearance of Facility: Your facility (classroom, conference room, hotel meeting room, etc.) must be clean, nicely appointed with conformable seating and a good writing position to take notes, if applicable. The room temperature MUST be properly maintained at a comfortable level.
- Applicability of the Material: The material for the course must meet the learners objectives for why they are taking the course. They must have take-away skills.
- Classroom Organization: The classroom must be well organized. People should not be struggling to see. The material must be clearly visible with appropriate sized lettering. Lighting and sound control must be conductive to proper concentration. No matter what seat a person chooses they must be able to see and hear the trainer at all times.
